These terms apply to your use of pettyautorepair.net, operated by PETTY AUTO REPAIR LLC, Dorchester, Massachusetts. By using the site you agree to them.
What the site is for
The site describes the services of Petty Auto Repair and gives you ways to reach the shop: phone, WhatsApp and a quote form that prepares a WhatsApp message for you. It is information, not a contract. No repair is agreed to or authorized on this site. Estimates and your authorization for work are handled at the shop, in the form and with the exceptions that Massachusetts law provides for repair shops (940 CMR 5.05).
Quote requests
A WhatsApp message, including one started from the quote form, is a request for us to get back to you. It is not a booking, it does not reserve a time, and a WhatsApp message does not book or authorize a repair. Anything we say in reply about likely causes or costs is general information, not an estimate; the estimate is prepared at the shop once we have seen the car. Please do not use WhatsApp for emergencies; if the car cannot wait, call (857) 756-0675.
Information on the site
Descriptions of symptoms, rules of thumb and example diagnostic codes are general information to help you decide whether to come in. They are not a diagnosis of your vehicle, and they are not a price. Only an inspection of your car can tell you what it needs.
Acceptable use
Do not use the form or WhatsApp to send spam, abusive content or anything unlawful, and do not try to interfere with the site or its protections. We may block numbers that do.
Content and trademarks
The name Petty Auto Repair, the logo and the text of this site belong to PETTY AUTO REPAIR LLC. Photographs marked as stock are licensed from their photographers and do not show the shop, its people or its work. Images marked as illustrations are computer-generated and do not show the shop either.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent Massachusetts law allows, PETTY AUTO REPAIR LLC is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information on the site. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under Massachusetts law, including 940 CMR 5.00 on motor vehicle repairs.
